Urgent Prayer Request

Dear Friends and Family,

Carrie and I have an urgent prayer request. Carrie and I have been working on getting all the documents we need

for residency status in Russia. It has been a lot of work and many things are coming down to the very last minute.

We have had a set back today. We were trying to get Abigail's Consular Report of Birth Abroad Apostilled.

We were told to send it to the U.S. Department of State in order to get an Apostille. So Carrie's mom sent it to

them and they took their sweet time. We were excited when it finally arrived today. Carrie's mom opened the package

and found out that they did not put an Apostille on it, they just gave us a letter telling us they could not certify the document,

but to contact another government office. Carrie's mom has been unable to reach a person in that office. It could

take several more days to figure this out. So.... this is the last document we need in order to apply January 11th.

There is a small chance the Russian office will not ask for this birth certificate when accepting our documents. Abigail

has a Russian birth certificate but the lady who did our Russian visas decided to spell her name differently on them, basically

making her Russian birth certificate useless. I am going to a Russian office to ask if they could change her birth certificate

(I have been told that will not work). However, please pray God will give me favor.

Also pray that this document will come in soon! Pray that Dawn (Carrie's mom) can get a hold of the right people.

This has really been a battle. Please pray. Thank you!
